Software Architect (m/f/d)

As our Software Architect (m/f/d) you design, develop, and maintain complex software architectures, including frontend and backend technologies for cloud-based and standalone applications.

Hybrid working: up to 95% remote possible; 5% on-site in Düsseldorf required

Your tasks:

• You translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring alignment with company objectives
• You develop specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility
• You define all aspects of development from appropriate technology stack and workflow to coding standards
• You promote and implement industry best practices in software architecture and engineering
• You collaborate in an agile setting with cross-functional teams to meet application development needs
• You support the Scrum of Scrum Master in establishing agile workflows
• You work on a broad variety of digital technology projects (including Industry 4.0, cloud applications, apps etc.)
• You support us in our digital transformation by advancing the implementation of leading edge software solutions

Your Profile:

• Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or similar
   At least 3 years of hands-on experience as lead developer, software architect or a similar role
• Experience and Know-how:
  • Expert in Python, JavaScript or TypeScript
  • Comprehensive understanding of developments frameworks like Vue.js, React, OpenAPI or similar 
  • Solid expertise in software design patterns, state of the art modelling tools and paradigms like REST API, MVC/MVP etc
  • Proven ability to translate high-level requirements into technical action plans for the whole development team
  • Comprehensive understanding of state or the art technologies and tools like Kubernetes, Docker, node.js, JSON, SQL and NoSQL databases, git, Jira etc
  • Strong proponent of agile methodologies and practices like Scrum and Kanban, Scrum Master experience is beneficial
  • Commitment to staying updated with the latest trends and best practices in the data domain
• Languages: Fluent in English, German beneficial
• Personality: Strong communicator, able to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders and the development team on the other side, Team player with a collaborative mindset
  Proactive and self-driven, always looking for ways to improve and innovate
  Adaptable and open to change, with a passion for staying updated with the latest in the data world
