Senior Director Product Management High Power (f/m/div)

As a Senior Director of Product Management High Power (f/m/div), you have the opportunity to shape Infineon's strategy, anticipate business challenges, and develop innovative solutions to steer the alignment of the High Power business line. As a Senior Director of Product Management High Power (f/m/div), you lead a motivated team and contribute to consolidating our market position and expanding our product portfolio worldwide. In your new role as Senior Director of Product Management High Power (f/m/div), you are responsible for the overall product portfolio of the High Power business line with a focus on applications such as solar, wind, energy storage systems, energy infrastructure, hydrogen production, electric and hybrid commercial vehicles, and traction.

In detail, the following tasks are part of your responsibilities:

  • Leadership: You will foster, lead, and motivate the product management team, which currently consists of 4 members.
  • Financial Performance: You will develop product forecasts and monitor financial performance. You will observe local competition and contribute to mid- to long-term capacity planning and competitive strategy.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: You will manage the product lifecycle in the commercialization phase and contribute to the product roadmap in collaboration with the product marketing team
  • Market Launch Planning: You will define the final market launch plan, drive market introduction, and lead G2M activities at the product level.
  • Pricing Strategy: You will update the pricing strategy and policy, manage and refine the operational pricing policy/corridor, and manage proposal creation. You will also contribute to the pricing strategy and policy for Volume Purchase Agreements (VPA).
  • Revenue: You will be responsible for our business-critical products in the segment that have high strategic importance and/or rapid growth. You have a high revenue responsibility and significant impact on short-term revenue and segment results.

As Senior Director Product Management High Power (f/m/div) you have a passion for product management.
You know the relevant markets, competitors and customers. You think and act strategically and define suitable strategies to assert yourself in the market.
You have a good sense for opportunities and can identify and implement opportunities for profitable business ideas even in challenging or new situations. You create an environment for high performance and successful collaboration, both within your team and between customers and Infineon.
You are able to successfully communicate Infineon's direction, to translate even complex and challenging strategy into ambitious goals and to achieve these goals together with your team in the best possible way. You implement them even in uncertain situations thanks to strong decision-making and analytical skills. With your leadership skills, you create an environment that offers sufficient room for the development of different personalities.
Last but not least, you have strong skills in dealing with stakeholders and use them to build a lasting and good relationship with them - for a sustainable future for all.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • Successfully completed a university degree (Diplom/Master/PhD) in the field of electrical engineering, industrial engineering, physics or in a comparable field of study
  • At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in product management, product marketing and/or application management/marketing in an international environment
  • Proven success in portfolio management, from the introduction of new products to the market to their discontinuation
  • Demonstrate strong team leadership skills and experience in people development to develop team members individually and effectively
  • Excellent communication skills in English and ideally in German language
